We had a wonderful evening in Scoil Oilibhéir on Thursday night as the school opened its doors for Open Night. From 7 o’clock on the corridors were thronged as parents and prospective parents visited classrooms to experience many of the terrific activities that take place within the school. It was lovely to see so many of our past pupils coming back to visit us and bringing their own children along as future students.
Throughout the evening the crowds were entertained by the school choir and band and our many talented pupils showcased their skills in the areas of Karate, Speech & Drama, French, Irish Dancing and Guitar. Our New Building with its state of the art facilities proved to be a great attraction. Our Students Council members, Green Schools Committee and Health Promoting Schools Committee did a great job on the night. Most of our visitors ended the night with a cup of tea or coffee kindly provided by the Friends of Scoil Oilibhéir. Thanks to all who supported us on the night.
