Our sixth class pupils are very busy at the moment as they prepare for their Confirmation on Tuesday next, March 28th. Confirmation Day is a big occasion in any school and we know that our children, helped by their teachers and the priests of the parish, are well prepared for their big day. Over the past few months they have been learning about the importance of the sacrament and the role that the Holy Spirit will play in their lives. More recently, they have been making some big decisions regarding Confirmation names and sponsors.

As the big day draws ever closer, the pupils and teachers have been making regular trips to St. Oliver’s Church, putting the finishing touches to the mass and making sure that the special day will run smoothly. On Monday 27th all members of the school community will join them in the church for the annual school mass. This is a very special event in the school calendar and it will help our Confirmandii in their final preparations. We wish them the very best as they take their first steps into adulthood on Tuesday.
