What could be nicer than a story and a treat? Well that is just what the children from An Droichead 1 enjoyed this week. They went on a visit to Blackpool Library where they enjoyed storytime followed by a trip to the café for some tasty treats.

We had great fun this morning in An Droichead planting up some window boxes. We planted some daffodil bulbs last autumn and we were delighted to see them grow. Today we planted pansies and we look forward to seeing their beutiful colous in a few weeks time.
The children of Mrs McSweeney’s class, An Droichead, filled our new window bird feeder with seeds during the week. They had great fun observing the feeder from the classroom and managed to get some photos of our feathered friends enjoying an unexpected lunch!
