The children of Scoil Oilibhéir are certainly going to be fit and healthy this year. Our new Health Promoting Schools Committee are going to ensure that we stay active and they are already planning lots of fun activities for the coming year.
Autumn is here… the ‘season of mists and mellow fruitfulness’ has come to Scoil Oilibhéir. Our Senior Infants have been busy in the garden picking a bumper crop of apples.
Third class are busy getting fit these days. Ms. Stokes class have been participating in Schools Fitness Week. They took part in a live work out with over 800 other schools across Britain and Ireland.

All the children took to the schoolyard today to practise their skipping skills. There were ropes galore so every child had the opportunity to skip for half an hour and it was great to see the children enjoying their time in the fresh air.
