The entire community of Scoil Oilibhéir congregated in St. Oliver’s Church this morning for our annual school mass. This mass has become a valued tradition in our school as we gather together to wish our Confirmandi the best for their Confirmation Day. Today’s mass was celebrated by Fr. John who, along with Fr. Damian, always provides great support to the school. The children of sixth class raised the roof with joyous song and the mass was, as always, a very moving occasion. The children and their teachers have put a lot of work into preparing for the ‘big day’ and we hope that the sun shines on them on Monday as they welcome the Holy Spirit into their lives.
