Jamie Represents Cork!
Sincere congratulations to Rang 6 pupil Jamie O Donovan who recently represented Cork U12’s in soccer. Jamie plays with local club Leeds AFC and is one of their up and coming stars! Groovy Moves in Rang 4 & 5
Fourth and fifth classes were feeling in the festive spirit this week by learning and performing the ‘Jerusalema’ dance. Maith sibh buachaillí agus cailíní!
Picker Pals in Rang 2
The three 2nd classes are taking part in the really exciting Picker Pals initiative this year. Each week a child takes home the Picker Pals pack and picks up litter in their area. This is a fantastic initiative to spread environmental awareness in Scoil Oilibheir.
5th class have been very busy creating and learning dances as part of P.E. Last week they gave 3rd class a workshop on how to dance the Jerusalema. Stay tuned for the big performance from 5th
