There was great fun to be had on the lead up to Halloween. Mrs Hunt’s second class were busy learning all about Halloween traditions , both past and present and even got to play some Halloween games. Mr Ryng’s class joined in on the action much to everyone’s delight!
Mrs Hunts class have been learning about healthy eating and the food pyramid. Great work was done constructing a food pyramid on the floor and deciding what food went into each section. Great teamwork!!!

It was Ms. O Brien’s classes turn to learn about Poland this term. We were so lucky in second class to have a parent come in and tell us all about Poland. The children in Mrs Hunts class were busy learning all about Poland and were delighted when a parent made a batch of pierogi (a filled dumpling)for the class to sample. They went down a treat!!!!
