Autumn has arrived in Scoil Oilibhéir and the children in Miss O Brien’s second class have been busy exploring and identifying signs of the season around the school. Great fun was had on our recent nature walk as part of a science and geography lesson.
We are lucky to have a wide variety of trees on our school grounds with plenty of leaves. The Horse Chestnut Tree is a firm favourite with students, who love its conkers.
Our school polytunnel has a variety of autumn vegetables, including pumpkins growing also.
