Rang 5 have been completing some lovely work in Art recently. Using the work of Cork artist Jason O German as their inspiration, the children constructed their very own mini versions of Cork City. They then added in some festive characters – can you spot them????

We have wonderful knitters in Ms. Maddens 5th class. Last year in 4th class, they knitted squares which Mrs. Quinlan crocheted together to make blankets for the wonderful charity “Cork Cancer Care/ The Blankets of Hope Cork”. Election Fever in Rang 5 agus Rang 6 Ahead of Tomorrow’s Vote
A mock General Election was held in 5th and 6th class today. Each student was given a ballet card to cast a vote. Quotas were worked out and several counts and tallies were taken in what lead to be a great insight into the voting process for the future generation of voters .

The children in 1st class – Ms Daly & Mrs Gleeson – have been busy exploring the best conditions to grow cress seeds in. The young scientists discovered that cress seeds love to grow in damp, warm conditions and absolutely love a bed of cotton pads.
