The children in second class have been learning about length. They measured different lengths using non standard units of measurement such as match sticks, lollipop sticks and paper clips. Well done guys!!

Second class were busy learning all about 3D shapes this week. They used coloured match sticks and blu tac to construct some very impressive 3D Shapes of their own!! Maith sibh!
Second class have been experimenting with water and different sized containers to learn all about capacity. The children worked together to decide which containers would hold the least and the most and then carried out various investigations to see if they were right. Great job!
Senior Infants had so much fun in the winter sun learning about journeys and drawing maps of Scoil Oilibhéir! Well done boys and girls!

Senior infants were busy during Maths Week with the Bee Bots and programming it. They used their mathematical skills to control the Bee Bot and they had so much fun! Senior Infants were also learning all about Halloween traditions in Ireland and tasted some barmbrack. Yum!!
