I am Malala

As part of a new DEIS initiative 5^th class have been reading the book ‘I am Malala’ in term 3, as too have the 1^st years in St. Aiden’s.

On Friday, St. Aiden’s 1^st year English classes visited our pupils for a mini- English lesson. Pupils enjoyed a shared reading session and discussing the main themes. 5^th class enjoyed quizzing the 1^st years ahead of their summer test based on the book while St. Aiden’s pupils loved looking 5^th classes projects on Malala and the country of Pakistan . A big thank you to the teachers of St. Aiden’s for helping us organise an enjoyable and hugely beneficial literacy lesson!
