6th class engaged in some great ‘learning on the move’ today getting to grips with the new Active Walkway signs. The control points (signs) are placed all around the school grounds and provide endless opportunities for children to learn and be active at the same time. Today the children took on an orienteering challenge and used their geography and mapping skills to describe control point locations and flags. It was all on a timer which adds to the fun and senior children thoroughly enjoy. Many more orienteering and outdoor lessons to follow!
