Bí Cineálta

We recently launched our new Anti-Bullying Policy, Bí Cineálta.

Bí Cineálta means Be Kind, and we place kindness, respect, and inclusion at the centre of how we work together in Scoil Oilibhéir. The policy sets out clear procedures for preventing and addressing bullying, while also promoting positive relationships among pupils.

The children played an important role in drafting Bí Cinealta. Our Student Council led consultation with their peers and the children designed and created a child-friendly version of the policy. The child-friendly versions are on display around the school. This version makes the key messages easy for children to understand and helps ensure that we continue to keep our school a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

We are very proud of our children’s efforts and could not wait to share their finished product with you. We also celebrated the children who used their artistic talents to design the policy.
